Aims and Scope

The Journal of the Bashir Institute of Health Sciences (JBIHS) is the official journal of the Bashir Institute of Health Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan. It is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that provides a scholarly platform for researchers, scientists, clinicians, academicians, and allied health professionals to publish high-quality research in the biomedical and health sciences.

The journal aims to promote the dissemination of original, ethical, and evidence-based research that contributes to the advancement of medical knowledge, clinical practice, healthcare education, and public health at national and international levels. JBIHS encourages interdisciplinary research and serves as a forum for scientific exchange among diverse health-related disciplines.

JBIHS is published on a biannual basis and follows a rigorous peer-review process. All submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening followed by double-blind peer review by in-house editorial board members and independent external reviewers to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance.

Open Access and Article Processing Charges (APC)

All accepted articles in the Journal of the Bashir Institute of Health Sciences (JBIHS) are freely accessible online. The journal does not charge any article processing fees (APCs), ensuring that authors can publish their work without financial barriers.
