Bashir College of Dentistry

The primary mission of the college is to educate individuals as dentists who have not only the fundamental knowledge of the profession but also the qualities and characteristics required of dentists as leaders of dental teams and members of community health teams. At Bashir College of Dentistry, we offer a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) program, consisting of four years of undergraduate study including two years of Pre-clinical followed by two years of Clinical Training in the various disciplines of Dentistry. After successful completion of the four-year study course, a one-year house job in a recognized hospital setting is to be completed.

Here we aim at academic excellence, clinical expertise and ethical practice for our future students. We believe in not just skilled practitioners but also humane individuals who are prepared to meet the needs of the society. We are dedicated to supporting our students’ personal and professional growth so that our students contribute positively to the development of our profession and society.

I feel privileged to be a part of the team to develop this new dental college under the umbrella of Bashir Institute of Health Sciences with its dedicated and worthy faculty. I have no doubt that under the leadership and support of our worthy CEO and Chairman, we would be able to achieve our goals and establish a Centre of Excellence in dental education.
